GETTING AROUND

From the airport to Hotel Convención:
24-hrs Airport Express Shuttle. Departs every 15m from each arrival terminal and need only 2 stops. The hotel stop, 200m from the main door.

Metro: Tube stations can be found in T1 and T2. O'Donnell tube station is only minutes away from the hotel near O'Donnell Maternity Hospital.

Taxi: Taxi in Madrid is relatively economic. Around 25€ from the airport.

From Atocha train station (High Speed Trains Station):
If you travel with luggage we recommend the 24-hour Airport Shuttle. Our 4 star hotel is located 200m away from the second stop (O'Donnell).

Arriving by car:
The following are the most common routes:
  • Coming from A1, A2 – Follow the signs towards M-30 direction A3 (Clockwise in the map). Take exit 7 – C/ O'Donnell. Once in O'Donnell, you will quickly find the hotel on your right hand side.
  • Coming from A3, A4, A5 – Follow the signs towards M-30 direction A2 (Anticlockwise in the map). Take exit 11 – C/ O'Donnell. Once in O'Donnell, you will quickly find the 4-star hotel on your right hand side.

WHAT TO DO IN MADRID

  • Visit the Royal Palace (the Palace of the Royal Family) and the largest Royal Palace in Western Europe.
  • Have a cold bottle of Mahou beer in Plaza Mayor (medieval Madrid).
  • See Picasso's Guernica and the work of famous Spanish masters, such Miro and Dali in the Reina Sofía Museum
  • Tour the tapas bars around Plaza Santa Ana and Huertas
  • Stay up all night in the disco bars and watch the sunrise as you leave a club. The city really heats up at night and the frenzy continues into the wee hours of the morning.
